Dr. Prof. Xue Xiangyang, Supervisor of Ph.D. candidates. His research interests include multimedia information processing and retrieval, image and video coding, network streaming media, watermarking, etc.

Responsibility: To be in charge of the whole administrative management work of the department.

Vice-Chairman: Zhou Shuigeng, Huang Xuanjing

Dr. Prof. Zhou Shuigeng, Deputy Director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing. His research interests include P2P Computing, data mining, information retrieval, web searching and mining, geographical information system, ect.

Responsibility: To be in charge of the personnel inviting, subjects, research and the work of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing.

Dr. Prof. Huang Xuanjing. Her research interests include information retrieval, natural language processing, etc.

Responsibility: To be in charge of training of graduate students, research, foreigner affairs and reception.
